LA DÉFAITE ALLEMANDE DE LA WARTHA. LE GRAND DUC NICOLAS ASSISTE A LA DÉBACLE ALLEMANDE
L’Artillerie russe a fait merveilles pendant la bataille de Lodz. Les Allemands ont vu leur plan échouer complètement devant l’admirable stratégie que leur avait opposée le Grand Duc. La victoire remportée par les Russes n’a rien d’égale dans l’histoire. Pendant l’action, les actes d’héroïsme furent innombrables, et le soldat russe montra une fois de plus son mépris de la mort et son dévouement au tsar.
The German defeat at Wartha. The Grand Duke Nicholas witnesses the German debacle.
The Russian artillery performed miracles during the Battle of Lodz. The Germans saw their plan fail completely against the cunning strategy displayed by the Grand Duke.
The victory achieved by the Russians has no equal in history. During the action acts of heroism were innumerable, and the Russian soldier showed once again his contempt for death and his devotion to the Tsar.
